Slice of Life Stories

"A good exercise is to attempt to write from the perspectives of many different people, like an old man, a young girl, a retard, a blind man, a poor person, a rich person, a prisoner, whatever... Otherwise, the first thing you write is just going to be what you know, and that is always less than you think!" -pXt

These are slice of life style stories I’ve written. The genres and tone are more varied than is normal for strict "slice of life" though, and they are very short, usually taking place in about 5 to 10 minutes of real time.

Unless I say otherwise, these are written by taking a one-line description I think of, and then just typing for 10 to 20 minutes without any planning. That one line appears at the top of each story. This is meant as an exercise in writing quickly and improvising. I hope you enjoy!
